The answer is yes! A study in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition took a look at 45 women. These women completed a 90 day strength training program. The women that worked out with weights and took 2 grams of fish oil daily had significantly increased strength than those women who exercised and did not take fish oil. It is common knowledge that fish oil can help protect your heart but now it may have an added benefit of improving your strength gains from your workouts.
