If recovering from an injury, this is a great idea! Start with the orange Handiband (the lighter option) and work to develop the strength to use the green Handiband (the heavier resistance option).
Often the orange Handiband can be good for arm exercises and the green for leg exercises. This is especially true for ladies.
Please keep in mind if you decrease the length of the elastic band of the Handiband you will also increase the overall tension.

Always check the elastic straps for nicks & cuts - if present, do NOT use - purchase a replacement strap.
If using in a studio or clinic or if using every day at home, consider replacing the straps every year. Especially, if creating high pull situation with a Handiband attached inside a door jamb or attached to the pulleys of the reformer.

What is the difference between the green & orange?
The green Handiband is heavier in resistance than the orange option.
It is similar to the the resistance of a blue Theraband®

The elastic strap is thicker and more durable than other resistance bands. However, with extended use the strap will break.
